Sehr gut

Die Lage ist top, da man zu Fuß zu den Maya-Ruinen gehen kann. Das Personal freundlich und die Häuschen sauber und gut eingerichtet.

Die Preise im Restaurant und das leidige Thema mit den Braunalgen am Strand haben uns leider den Strandtag vermiest. Der Geruch und auch das Wasser war l weit wirklich unschön und so konnten wir den Strand nicht nützen (dafür kann das Hotel nichts, sollte man aber wissen, da die Strandhotels wirklich teuer sind)

„wunderschön aber etwas zu teuer

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Alles sehr gepflegt, ruhig, modern und neu. sehr bequeme Betten. Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir fanden die Unterkunft insgesamt einfach insgesamt zu teuer. Auch bei den Serviceleistungen (Massage, Essen,Trinken) unrealistische Preisvorstellungen Vorallem im Vergleich zu den Nachbarhotels. Leider gibt es keine Polsterauflagen auf den Strandliegen…kann man bei den Preisen schon erwarten. Alle Nachbarhotels haben Polsterauflagen und bequeme Daybeds. Die Klimaanlage ist zu laut. Trinkgelderwartung im Beachclub. (gibt man weniger als 20% Trinkgeld scheint das eine persönliche Beleidigung darzustellen und man wird künftig ignoriert….leider aber generell in Tulum ein Problem)

Lo que más me gustó fue el bungalow. Con dos duchas, una afuera pero privada para sacarte la arena y la del interior del bungalow que parece que estás afuera!

Que no tuviera una pava eléctrica para agua caliente para poder preparar té y una nespresso para café, si así fuera, sería perfecto!

se ensombreció tanto la estancia que se me hace difícil destacar algo bueno, tal vez, habitación bonita? cierto encanto en la ubicación?

el día que llegamos no funcionaba el agua caliente ni la caja fuerte. preguntados ambos temas: 1) agua caliente: lo revisaremos (al día siguiente, cuando pregunto, me indican que por error no la habían encendido, pero esa duchita con agua fría nada más llegar y de noche no te la quita nadie. 2) caja fuerte: que nos daban la llave para poder usarla (nunca llegó esa llave, parece ser que no la tenían…) segundo día: no arreglaron la habitación. cuando pregunto por ello al llegar por la tarde al hotel, me indican que no sabían que había ocurrido y que no podían hacer nada (solo por ponernos en perspectiva: estaba pagando 460€/noche, tal vez sea poco dinero para que incluyan la limpieza de la habitación), eso si, el sobre para dejar propina en la habitación para el “ama de llaves” que no falte (pensé que había una cámara oculta) tercer día: (yendo yo en cada momento a preguntar a recepcion, pues desde el hotel no son proactivos y no vienen a darte las respuestas) me dicen que es que no tenían segunda llave de la habitación y por eso no pudieron limpiarla. sin palabras… les dejo la llave para que hagan una copia muy decepcionante en general el trato recibido y sin ninguna solución aportada. ha sido una auténtica tomadura de pelo cuando al hacer el check out el último día que salíamos de viaje y vuelvo a comentar todas las incidencias y su respuesta es ofrecerme una botella de vino mexicano… vergonzoso

Relax / withe sand / good food / no need to go any where else

Rooms are excellent

See weeds everywhere although they clean every morning a lot is just to hard to keep up on the season / a little trouble to go to the hotel because is located inside a national park and they have to check every time you go in to the street that take you to the hotel plus if you arrive before 5 pm there is a fee involve which is not that much but is better to know about it.

Beautiful setting in National Park. Walking distance to ruins. Seaview room was just perfect. Rustic and beach life decor.

Pricing was again on the high side. This is more a Tulum thing than individual moan. Feels to me These hotels and beach clubs are trying to make an omelette before cracking an egg.we regularly go to Ibiza for the last 30 years. The beach clubs and Rustic clubs came about slowly and progressed into the market. Once they had their clientele they put prices up. The restaurant here had 3 people in it and way overpriced. Menu is a one pager. This is acceptable for a Michelin star place but not a small boutique hotel. Lower your prices and people may eat there. When I think about La torre or pikes in Ibiza and the food you get there and the pricing being very reasonable for astonishing food then it makes this place look like they need to roll it back a bit. Glass of wine 20 dollars is mad. Small mushroom risotto 35 dollars mad.

Good

We mostly enjoyed our stay in Kai Tulum. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Enough sunbeds existed in beautiful beach. It is a quiet location unless other hotel visitors makes noise. It is in a walking distance to Tulum ruins. It has enough parking lot to park your car. I strongly suggest you to rent a car if you are planning to visit cenotes, Chichen Itza and other ruins as well as restaurants in city centre. WiFi was fast enough even for video streaming during our stay in every spot of the hotel.

Restaurant has very few options and it is quite expensive. Hotel located in a national park so if you leave and want to return before park closed then you have to pay approximately 5 euros per person. Always keep your hotel reservation with you because you have to show it each time when you enter the park.

Beautiful stay and location, food to improve

Beautiful and spacious little house, great shower! Beautiful beach. Super relaxed. We liked that the location was quiet. The ruins are also on a walkable distance.

Not all personal was friendly. If they can improve the quality of the food they serve it would be an awesome place to stay. However, you can go to nearby places for food.

No service in hotel area Hotel and restaurant area were separate so no service to room except very small tea / coffee in morning delivered to room. We had no fridge in room - kids did.

Beautiful beach huts but poor food

Location on the beach is amazing. However, it is in the national park, so you do need to pay to come back in before 6 pm if you have left. Approx 58 pesos per person. The hut is stunning and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed which is a 30 second walk onto a beautiful beach

The food at the restaurant is very overpriced and not good quality. If you walk 15 mins along the beach, you can get amazing food from the mezzanine, which is priced the same. We did book a garden view but half of the view was blocked by another hut which they didn't say when booking. In terms of location, it is hard to get anywhere else without a cab or bike. The walk to the town is 1 hour from here so this location is really dependant on what you want from your stay.

Would be a great place - just need to improve a few things.

The rooms are spacious and very peaceful, the terrace is beautiful and the beach very clean and turquoise water. We also didn't have a lot of algae in October which was great. Snorkeling with rays and turtles options all around. Important info: keep the national park paper bracelets on your wrist at all times. Many restaurants around and beautiful view on the tulum ruins/temples, many birds and cute agoutis around. The housekeepers are sooo nice friendly and did their best to clean the rooms.

Everyone in the lobby and restaurant except the housekeeper (she was so nice and cleaned everything thoroughly) and one very young waiter was really impolite, uninterested (waving for them for a long time to get pillows for our loungers), tried to sell us something for a higher price (tip scam, airport shuttle, etc), wasn't helpful or told us that we had to pay extra fees via cash. The service really has to improve!!No booking the restaurant bill on your room is really not practical either. There were bad smells in both of our rooms which were tried to hide with scent spray. One of us experienced bed bug bites after 4 nights here, it is impossible to trace where they are from but we had a weird smell in the room which could be a hint. The bikes you can rent for 20 dollars p. bike are extremely old, don't have properly inflated tires which makes biking through the construction sites and sand in Tulum even harder. All of this is fixable and this hotel and restaurant really have soooo much potential. Would love to come back if all of this was improved.

Bel hôtel en soit les pieds dans le sable avec plage vue sur ruines

Dommage que ce soit situé dans la zone protégée, il faut payer chaque jour son droit d'entrée et justifier que vous êtes client de l'hôtel à chaque passage Plastiques interdits dans cette zone donc quand vous rentez d'une journée avec la chaleur et forcement de quoi boire, il faut jeter les bouteilles en plastique, seules les gourdes sont autorisées De plus niveau équipement nous étions 4 et avions 2 chaises pour 4 ou 2 verres pour 4 ... Ne comptez pas non plus sur l'eau chaude ou même tiède Bref assez mitigé pour le prix fort qu'il est demandé Tulum hors de prix pour la moindre petite chose !
